This commonly quoted part of dialogue in William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet, in which Juliet argues that names of things do not affect what they really are.
My name does not represent me but is only a name.
Still, you may be asking the origin of the name itself.
That is a bit more complicated.
This begins back in High School for me. First-period art class/Homeroom. I would always gaze at a very pretty boy seated perfectly in front of me. At the time I was researching many different religions just to get a glance at the vast concepts that there are out in the world. I was at that time looking into satanism. Not to rejoice but to study. I grew up strongly Christian in a Christian family and went to church every day. In Christianity, it teaches you to tolerate and to learn. So I being a very curious little girl stepped out of the blinding path aligned straight ahead of me and glanced off to see what others see. What makes other religions acceptable in others minds? This was one of my questions. Sure in church they tell you the answer but I'm not one to follow blindly on a single man's word. Workers of god or not. History has proven that to be iffy at best like these preachers who molest boys. Or the Christians who judge when they should not. Trust should only be in God alone. People would not have Jesus to forgive their sins if they were perfect already. Even the highest can fall. I am digressing. So during this time in school this boy and I would talk about all I was learning and he himself enjoyed learning about other faiths too. Well, I can not quite remember but at some point. I needed an e-mail address for something not important. So I said think of one for me and it does not need to be professional I just need one. The next day he came to me very excited and told me Satanizmihomedog@gmail.com. I told him I loved it. I mean I could not deny him he had thought about it all day and well he was drop dead gorgeous. lol
That year he ended up moving far away and I never got to see him again. So in his memory I have just always carried this name with me around on all the sites I go to. I know its silly but I really liked the guy. Even more as a friend than just someone I could hook up with. I take all friendships very seriously and would do anything for a friend.
Just to clarify only after years later did I decide to change my actual religion. It had nothing to do with the username. It was only because of personal experiences. If you want to know I am Agnostic.
